Recent Projects

My coat hanger idea was inspired by two of my friends in Charlotte. Whenever I walk by or glance at it I will always think of them ;)

I found the wood at an antique shop in downtown Fairhope for 50 cents. The knobs came from Hobby Lobby for $1.99 and 50% off! I love bargain shopping!!

I made this picture as a wedding gift for a dear friend. I took pictures of letters in various locations while traveling on vacation and had it framed at Michaels. It spells out her new last name Franks.

Just In Time...

Welcome to my blog everyone! I am a beginner when it comes to blogging. My sister gave me a short mini-course and the rest is up to me :) While viewing my blog you can expect to read a short introduction and mostly moments captured on film. I titled my first blog "Just In Time" because it truly came just in time before our life was totally transformed. As soon as my husband I came back from our vacation he had major back surgery, left for Spring Training and a month in a half later he was released. We were in living in Charlotte, NC before he was released from baseball and had to make a huge decision...what do we do now, where do we go? So we planted our little life in Daphne, AL where we are currently living with my oldest sister, brother-in-law and precious niece. The change is a challenge, but we know we are blessed with family support, new job opportunities and possibilities to come. Two months ago I thought I would be traveling with my husband while he played professional baseball and God said, "No Lindsey I have a different plan. Just be patient and wait, trust in me. I will never leave or forsake you. I have bigger plans for you both." I have to remind myself of that everyday. While I have more time on my hands I thought I would use the tool of blogging to share my photos and the meaning behind them.

The photos below are from the trip my husband Jared and I took right before he left. He surprised me with a weekend getaway to Wilmington, NC. That trip was right up our ally! We stayed in the middle of downtown and were just a few blocks away from the famous pier and a few minutes away from the beach. I will never forget walking down the historical brick roads while holding a coffee in one hand, my husbands hand in the other and of course my camera attached to my hip!
